Noggins - Frequently Asked Questions
How do I restore my premium purchases?
If you've already purchased premium content and need to restore it on a new device or after reinstalling:
- Open the Noggins app
- Tap on a locked premium category
- In the purchase screen, tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom
- Your premium content will be restored automatically
Note: You must be signed in with the same Apple ID that you used to make the original purchase.
What categories are included in Noggins?
Noggins includes 66+ categories total:
- 43 FREE categories including Animals, Movies, Famous People, Sports, Food & Drinks, and many more
- 23 PREMIUM categories including Harry Potter, Marvel, Star Wars, Friends, The Office, Breaking Bad, Seinfeld, 80s & 90s Music, and more pop culture favorites

How do I play Noggins?
Playing Noggins is simple and fun:
- Choose a category from the category selection screen
- Hold your phone up to your forehead facing your friends
- Your friends will give you clues to help you guess the word
- Tilt the phone down when you get it right, or tilt up to skip
- Keep going until time runs out!
Perfect for parties, family gatherings, or anywhere you want to have fun!
What's the difference between free and premium categories?
Free categories are available to all users immediately after downloading the app. You can play with 43 different free categories without any purchase.
Premium categories feature specialized content for superfans. These categories include fan-favorite franchises and niche topics. You can unlock all premium categories with a single one-time purchase.
The premium unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that gives you access to all current and future premium content forever!
How much does the premium unlock cost?
The premium unlock is a one-time purchase. The price is displayed in your local currency in the App Store. Once purchased, you'll have permanent access to all premium categories across all your devices.
Can I get a refund?
All purchases are processed through the App Store and are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund:
- Visit https://support.apple.com/billing
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your purchase and request a refund
We do not process refunds directly as all transactions are handled by Apple.
The app isn't working properly. What should I do?
If you're experiencing issues with Noggins, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Restart the app: Close the app completely and reopen it
- Update the app: Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
- Restart your device: Power off your iPhone/iPad and turn it back on
- Reinstall the app: Delete and reinstall Noggins (don't worry, you can restore your premium purchase)

Does Noggins collect my personal data?
No! Noggins does not collect any personal data, usage analytics, or tracking information. Your privacy is important to us. For more details, please read our Privacy Policy.
Does Noggins require an internet connection?
No, Noggins works completely offline. Once downloaded, you can play anywhere without needing an internet connection. The only time you need internet is for making or restoring purchases.
What iOS version is required?
Noggins requires iOS 15.0 or later. The app is compatible with iPhone and iPad.
