Seamly ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our mobile and web applications, including Noggins and Gardenboi.
Our apps have different data practices depending on their features. This policy is organized by app so you can easily find the information relevant to you.
Noggins
Noggins is a charades party game that operates entirely on your device.
Data Collection
Noggins does not collect any personal data. It does not require an account, does not track usage analytics, and does not store any information on our servers. All game data remains on your device.
Advertising
Noggins displays non-personalized advertisements provided by Google AdMob. This means:
- Ads are not targeted based on your personal information or browsing history
- Ad selection is based on contextual information such as the app content and general location (country-level)
- Google AdMob may collect limited technical information such as IP address (for general location and fraud prevention) and device information
- No persistent identifiers (like advertising IDs) are used for ad personalization

Gardenboi
Gardenboi is a garden planning app with social features. It requires an account and stores data on our servers to provide its functionality.
Account Information
When you create a Gardenboi account, we collect and store:
- Email address — used for authentication and account recovery
- Display name — chosen by you, visible to your garden buddies
- Bio — optional, visible to your garden buddies
Location Data
Gardenboi requests location access (with your permission) to determine your USDA hardiness zone and estimated frost dates. Location data is:
- Collected only when you explicitly initiate a zone lookup
- Used to calculate your hardiness zone and frost dates
- Not stored on our servers — only the resulting zone and frost dates are saved with your garden
User Content
When you use Gardenboi's features, we store the following on our servers:
- Gardens — garden names, plants, planting schedules, and notes
- Posts — text updates you share with your buddies
- Images — photos you upload with posts, stored on Cloudflare R2 cloud storage
- Comments and reactions — your interactions on buddies' posts
- Buddy connections — your list of garden buddies (mutual connections only)
How Your Data Is Shared
Your Gardenboi content is shared only with your approved garden buddies. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your gardens, posts, and profile are not publicly visible — they are only accessible to users you have accepted as buddies.
Advertising
Gardenboi does not display any advertisements.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your account data and content are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your Gardenboi account directly in the app, use our account deletion page, or contact us at support@seamly.ca. Upon deletion, we remove your account, profile, posts, images, comments, reactions, and buddy connections.
In-App Purchases
Some of our apps may offer in-app purchases. Purchase transactions are processed by the relevant app store platform, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information. The platform provider handles payment processing in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Third-Party Services
Our apps use the following third-party services:
- Apple, Inc. — App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing
- Google LLC — Google Play distribution and in-app purchase processing
- Google AdMob — Non-personalized advertising in Noggins
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting for Gardenboi (Supabase Privacy Policy)
- Cloudflare — Image storage for Gardenboi (Cloudflare Privacy Policy)
Children's Privacy
Noggins does not collect any information from any user, including children.
Gardenboi requires an account and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account, we will take steps to delete the account and associated data.
Your Rights
For Noggins, no personal data is collected, so there is nothing to access, modify, or delete.
For Gardenboi, you may:
- Update your display name and bio at any time within the app
- Delete your posts, comments, and garden data within the app
- Delete your account in the app or through the Gardenboi account deletion page
- Request full account deletion by contacting support@seamly.ca
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
